Ente Kochi Competition

Our Ente kochi_competition entry shortlisted among top 15 entries.

 

Ente Kochi is  a National level Urban Design competition organized by GIZ India along with kochi Municipal Corporation, Centre for Heritage Environment & Development, Urbznet & Urbanista,Our entry titled "Water as a Determinant to Reimagine Kochi" got shortlisted.

 

We proposed a scenario based on Blue - Green Urbanism for a resilient Kochi.The implementation is based on a three tier strategy which involves:1. Canal Management ( opening, widening and dredging of canal)2. Landscape strategies )swales, detention areas, storm water infiltration & bioremediation)3. Blue - Green Urbanism : Integration of public spaces with Blue - Green network, decentralised waste management & integrated public transport.
